Thyroid issues are serious problems for some people and especially older women. Knowing that, it’s important to know which foods help and which foods don’t help in treating thyroid conditions.
For those who have sensitive stomachs or allergies, it’s likely that they substitute regular milk for soy milk. While this is great for the time being, recent studies may actually prove that it’s not COMPLETELY healthy.
As it turns out, soy milk can cause some serious damage inside the body. This type of milk is the HIGHEST in pesticides and it doesn’t help that most of its content is genetically modified.
The soy in the milk possesses an ingredient that’s close to Vitamin B12, but as a result, it creates a LACK of B12 in the consumer. Furthermore, the ingredients cause high temperatures in the body which negatively affect one’s body chemistry.
Not only all of that, but soy products make it hard for the body to digest nutrients like iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc to name a few. The milk is also high in toxic isoflavones, which aid in the generation of breast cancer!
Foods that are rich in soy also have been proven to potentially lead to Alzheimer’s disease and its natural toxins play a role in women’s menstrual cycles as well! Sheesh!
Lastly, soy can also lead to cancers of the colon and can even lead to swollen digestive systems. Those studies proved this while experimenting with rats. So rather than asking for soy milk in your coffee or cereal, it’s probably better to go with almond milk!
