Whitsunday Island:
The Whitsunday Islands is sited between south of Bowen and to the north of Mackay some 900 kilometers north of Brisbane. It is collection of various sizes of continental islands off the central coast of Queensland, Australia.
The traditional owners of the area are the Ngaro People and the Gia People.
